RJ's work lead to the release of his training essentials book, which is far different thean inno-sport authenticity. but a solid book none the less.

I may embark on this project, but also may try a forum review for the DB hammer forum

RJ Nelsen said:

Inno-Sport is a training system that was introduced about 5-6 years ago. It offered a novel system of classification and nomenclature and is perhaps the most "complete" training system ever written up. It's an amazing piece of work, but it's difficult to implement perfectly.

If you'd like to read more about it, start here:

http://www.inno-sport.net/Trai.....Basics.htm

If you'd like to learn more, I suggest you purchase the book and read the rest of the articles on the site above. Just to make it clear, I really love the system and the way it teaches people to look at training. Even though I don't apply it, I think with its organizational structure and vocabulary

Hello,

Will it actually be recreated? Maybe Alex will write another book advancing Brad's work.

Not RJ but..

I like to work from iso to isomio to pim. this should help with learning proper movement patterns.

LAG could be iso, or iso with multiple pauses (IPM in inno-speak) like squat hold at bottom for 20 sec, hold at 2/3 for 20 sec, hold at 1/3 for so sec (holds on ascent), or just for reps like squat for 25 reps no resting to catch your breath between reps

Hi,

What do you think about the whole drama over PIM Squats robbing you of the ability to accelerate at toe off vs. ISO Squats that supposedly solved the problem. KellyB said that the body is easily able to differentiate different types of movement pattern and that he doesn't recommend ISO Squats anymore. However, much of the program is based on progressions from ISO exercises...

Also just to know, how does one perform an exercise say a squat in the lag-3 bracket, is it strictly ISO?

Thanks a lot
