		<description>Hello,
I have to tell ya that i am impressed with what the eastern bloc has done despite deplorable conditions. From what i hear from Jay Schroeder,Ben Tabachnick (personal conversations plus his book) in Russia(former Ussr),different republics and different levels of athletes had different conditions. Olympians pretty well off(no comparison with U.S. professionals of course).
A real lack of facilities and quality food despite some fantastic supplements(Ratibol,Alces-V,Rantarin,Eleuthero,Inosine-F)drugs(won&#039;t get into this one) and training knowledge(Gymnastics and Track for gpp, the correct application and use of the Oly lifts for many athletes,EMS,downhill sprints, parachutes etc.).
